    Default Problems with Gunite

I had my pool gunited 12 days ago. I have found that on the spa dam wall that I found rebar tie wires and a couple pieces of exposed rebar. The site supervisor chipped it some stuff. After that I realized that the gunite is too thin, I see the rebar at 1/4 to 1/2 inch depth. I am worried about rust leeching through down the road. Is there any specifications for standard engineered pool regulations that I can use to verify to the PB that they need to fix it. So far they are giving me the run around. I spoke with the pool engineering company they also stated that the gunite thickness was not thick enough and would need to be added on.

Any help would be appreciated, other than the rust issue, which I believe is an issue if the rebar is not at least an inch thick, what other issues or problems could this cause.
