I cannot answer numbers 1 or 2.
Your numbers confuse me, as it seems you are posting your salt content, and not a chlorine number. You still need to know a chlorine number, and not just your salt reading. Do you have a test kit? Post your numbers (FC, TC, CC, CYA, pH, TA) and pool stats so someone can further assist you.
Regarding number 3, you can simply add bleach to sanitize your pool. When/if your water temp goes below 50 or so, you will probably not need to add much, if any, as algae growth will be minimal.
