Decided on Heat Pump, any info. on these 3?
I originally started a thread on going solar but after great research and help here I've turned to a heat pump, for I like the fact I'm able to swim year round and not at the mercy of the weather. I have narrowed it down to 3 manufactures.
1. Summit SUM5 131K BTU COP 5.9 Titanium does not offer option for cooling
2. Jandy AE 3000 115K BTU COP 5.9 Titanium ~ $400 option for cooling.
3. Aqualcal H155R 120K BTU COP 6.1 Titanium w/cooling for summer water
Does anyone have any information or recomendation on any of these three. The Summit is approx. $200.00 cheaper then the Jandy where the Aqualcal is approx. $800 more then the Summit, but has the cooling to lower the water temp in the summer. Jandy offers this cooling feature for $400 more. Has anyone had any experience with this cooling feature? Is it worth the extra? Thanks for all your help.
