    Default Margins

Curious, what type of margins are pool builders making? Seems to me they are able to throw in things (upgrade equipment) or take $1000 of here and there without even flinching.

    Vinyl vs. Concrete?

try this for size regarding margins. 15x30 ig pool gunite pentair 1hp and 60cft de filter no spa regular rectangle with 2ft reversed radius corners , steps on one corner.

pb s quoted between $26,000 and $31,000 so after a few calls to friends who did owner builder went this route.

all stages now completed and ready to plastwer this week should have it all done for about $18,000 INCLUDING 500sq ft of decking.

no major problems with any contractors . completed in 5 weeks.

not to mention that PB's get their materials (equipment) at a better price than the average consumer...

Have had a few PB's estimate my pool and retaining wall for RV access for 80-90k. I have done it myself as owner builder for under 50K
