    Kevin,
Yes, remove the tops for the cleaners and blow and plug each line. Then cover the units (The tops won't go back on with the lines plugged)
The only thing that comes to mind for the wedges is ladder/ handrail anchor cup freeze protection. Are they the right size and number for this?
For the heater, there should be a petcock or winterizing plug on the bottom of the manifold (where the pipes come in and out) which should be opened and left open. Also, most of the 'box shaped heaters' have a pressure switch which should be removed so that the water can drain from that line. It helps to blow some air through the heater lines once drains and pressure switch line are open.

Well, I'm partially finished. The wedge shaped stoppers actually went into the control valves for the floor cleaning system. It was actually pretty slick, as they have a valve on top for compressed air. Hooked up the air compressor and blew them all out pretty quickly.

So I have the return side taken care of. However, I can't figure out how to do the suction side. The skimmer feeds into a "basket/net" next to it which also is connected to the floor cleaning system (suction). This is a long chamber with two pipes on the bottom and two on the top. This is the one I haven't figured out.

I also have a lot of stoppers left which I can't figure out where they go.

Also, I learned the hard way that it takes a special tool to install the loop-loc mesh cover. I'll try to find one tomorrow.

    Thanks again,
    Kevin
