    Default Is this right??

This might be a dumb question, but on daily basis running your pools, do you keep jets, skimmer and main drains on while filteration is 'on'?

Last night, I decided to turn the valve off for the main drains, and just ran the two returns (jets) and skimmer set to filteration. Is that more ideal and to have a better/clearer pool?

    -Thanks

In my opinion, the more water you can get to circulate, the better off you'll be. We always leave everything open.
Why BBB? Because money can't buy happiness, but saving it sure can!

How long are you running your pump?

24/7 since last thursday, but that is b/c I was wondering why my pool was cloudy and sandy. To find out the pb's only backwashed and never rinsed afterwards. Now I know. As for timer, it has not set b/c I cannot figure how to use the manual timer and the screws were not put in. I was promised 2day that the pbs would come out and setup my timer, but they never came. So after about 15hrs running today at about 7:00pm, I turned off the pump manually.

As for drains, I have both returns on 100%, 100% skimmer and 20% drains on.

    See how it does.
