    Default Polaris 150

I have been running the Polaris 150 since last Thursday. To me all this thing does is clean along the edges. It chills out mostly on the deep-end and kinda acts like it wants to come all the way to the shallow side, but then tricks you, burps... then goes back down the deep-end and just skirting along the edges.

I am using the deep-end 45degree adapter to hook to the deep skimmer and I am using the correct length in hose. I been messing with the hose weights and it just does not want to clean in the center of the pool area.

Here is the shape of our pool:

well I did some mods to the weights for the hoses. It seems to work better. It just weird that once all the small dirt in sucked up and by the end of the day and when the timer goes off and shuts all equipment down.

By the next day startup, it seems the dirt still is in there by the returns spitting it back out.

It is just weird that I already backwashed and rinsed about 2 weeks ago and this crud is happening again. I am really wondering if my filter sand is spitting the crap back into my pool.

    Any takers to know why??

I am wondering if I should trash the zeobrite and put in sand.

    Cool Re: Polaris 150

Mike, before you dump the Zeo, check the gasket in the multiport

Mike - I am convinced that my filter spits the dirt back into the pool as well. In fact as you vacuum you can see it shooting from the outlets.

    Shucks!!!

I am really considering getting a POOL ROVER PLUS now. I feel that this 150 is not good. Sometimes it just stays in one spot like it stuck and yet have i seen it go down the middle of my pool (by the drains or any where in the middle) and clean that dirt there. Also I leave it in for 3 hours and all it does is cicle my pool

I plan to call Polaris and complain, maybe see if they can do a customer satisfaction swap for my 150 for credit and buy up for the RV. If not, I will put this on ebay for next year and get the rover plus this year.
