We talked to PB about the rough crete on the polymer walls under the liner. One place, about a 3 ft section is extremely bumpy. It is about 2 to 21/2 ft below skimmer. The pool will have to be drain about 3 to 3 1/2 ft for the PB to get to the very rough poolcrete or concrete (could be, since the PB put some in the bottom, before the poolcrete was installed) that was spashed or spilled on the walls. I hestitate to let the PB remove the liner pass the returns, light, and polaris port. I am afraid that the liner will not fit correctly back in place, and will leak around these areas. Yet, the crete is very rough, and I don't like it, either. Any input? Thanks to all of you, who take the time to share your knowledge and experiences.

. QC and ability to work with the materials used to build a pool seems to be beyond his and his crew's ken. However, if he wants to drain the pool to fix the 'splatters' let him. If he reinstalls the liner the way you feel he will, you get the new 'tile-less' one that would hide the unlevelness of the pool - at his expense!
As he may not realize it, I'll tell you, gravity is working against him as the crete is removed, unless something is in place to prevent it, the liberated crete will fall under the liner and simply move the problem deeper and pehaps worsen it. Please keep us posted.
