    Question Pool Light

I had my pool 24' above ground pool installed about a month ago. I have a cut on my hand and I got in the pool and it statred stinging and hurting a little in the cut. Kinda felt like when you put a battery on your tounge. When I unplugged the light from the pool the sting went away. What could be the cause of this? I know it has to do with the light but why?

What brand of light is it?
The aqualuminator should NOT do this, however, if you/they did not tighten it enough, there could be a very small leak around the gasket separating the electrical portion from the return jet portion, which in turn could conduct electricity back into your pool.
Let us know the light brand and we'll be of more help.

Are you plugged into a GFI outlet?
    What type if light?
As Matt mentioned the aqualuminator should not shock you it is running on 12 v DC and doesnt have the punch to get you.
