the claimed speed of 2 miles an hour is what leaves me wondering, that seems realy slow.

I've seen a few different brand names for these "toys"... six flags, I know I saw three different sea-doo models ( with different "speed" capabilities), & I think coleman too....
Years ago I tried a commercial ( scuba diving) type of one of these, it may have been Zodiac brand. It was for adults & it did move a pretty good clip. Very Fun!
I thought about buying the toy one when the price dropped @ Walmart ( end of season sale), but I decided against it for now, only because my preschool twingles ( twins + single), don't swim under-water yet.
I think I'll wait until they are confident/competant swimmers... by then there will probably be additional features ( like longer battery life or quicker charging or faster/additional speeds) available.
I think as a kid, I would have LOVED this toy ( if it works as good as advertised....lol)
especially if you have the submerged hula-hoop obsticle course to swim it through...![]()
Please let us know if you do purchase one of these, how well it works![]()
A neighbor just gave one to my 10 year old daughter and she LOVES it. It's her favorite pool toy (and she has a lot). The charge does last for about an hour which is really a long time if you think about it. Also, my husband is over 200 lbs. and it pulls him no problem. The regular price was $99, but my neighbor got it on sale at WalMart for $30. I would HIGHLY recommend this toy!

Update: We went ahead and bought one of these. They had them at Walmart for $50. I'll keep an eye out to see if they come down any more though.
It was going to be a surprise for the kids, but my wife left it in the back of the Sequoia and of course they saw it when she was getting out groceries. At any rate, I'll post a review once the pool is completed and we've had a chance to use it.
