Default Live in Mass: When are you closing your pool?

I'm thinking this weekend of closing our pool. We are going to have a nice day tomorrow around 85 then a cool front comes in for the whole week and 60's during the day and 40's at night. I don't have a solar cover so the water will be freezing.

Just wondering if anyone else in the area is closing their pool so early. Usually I want until the 3rd week in Sept.

I'm closing mine tomorrow. I don't think the kids have even been in it the last 2 weeks.

I'm in Southern NH. The kids didn't swim for the last few weeks then yesterday I knew it was supposed to be warm for a few days (82), so I fired up the heater. The kids had a blast in it yesterday and will probably swim a bit today. We'll be closing the last week in September

Hi, I'm in M***., too. This is my first season with a pool so I was wondering the same thing about closing.

I think we will attend "pool school" tomorrow to learn about closing and then attempt it next weekend.

Would LOVE to enjoy this warm day at the pool, but am traveling to NH today.

Hope you all enjoy this last blast of summer!

    Default What's with the *a**?

I was hoping to catch some b*** when last in M***. Using my trusty comp***, I took my fibergl*** boat over the overp*** and p***ed a m***ive m***ive landm***. The underp*** was next; it was overgrown with nutgr*** and ryegr*** but by using my spygl*** I was not too embarr***ed by the mor***.

I guess the forum software has been modified to prevent anyone from making an a$$ of himself inadvertently. .

Why BBB? Because money can't buy happiness, but saving it sure can!

Well you can always get around the restrictions by calling it Ma$$achusetts - that certainly works!

On topic - it certainly has seemed to be a wet, cool, rainy summer in the Northeast
