Airate with Spill over Spa

To lower my ALK can I use my spill over spa in Spill over mode ? (Not recirculate in the spa) It has 6 jets that can bubble a lot or does it need to occur in the main pool ?

Yes the spillway can aerate the water as well as using the T-jets. I lowered my ALK from ~190 to ~80 in 24 hours with just the spillway and about 2 hours with the T-jets.

I had to rush to work this morning but late yesterday I got the PH low and cranked up the spa jets and left it in spillover mode. Tonight will tell ... I started at 190 so hopefully I will see a dramatic drop also.
