The Sundek crew is here now, we got rained out yesterday. I'll try to have some updated pictures this afternoon.
Sean, If you can, try and talk the crew into the rolling the paint down. Much better coverage than with the sprayers. Just a tip. My PB jumped the crews @$$ for the poor paint job they did on mine. They rolled it this time and it looks great.

Deck is done! First they pressure washed the entire deck, then dried it with a blower and then taped off the coping and house to protect from overspray. Then they put down a base coat, the texture and then the color.

I'll try to post a close up picture tomorrow. We had rain yesterday so I'm not sure what that did to the schedule, but God willing, we should be getting plaster tomorrow. We are meeting with the landscape designer on Saturday to work on our plant selection and layout.

OK, don't lie. You took off your shoes and walked on it with your bare feet, huh??? How did it feel?. Neck and Neck we are. My PB called yesterday. Plaster on Friday, weather permitting. They have already done the prep on the pool (Clean it out, drain water, scrape any loose gunite/ mortar). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

No plaster today. Scheduled for tomorrow, but alas, so is the rain. I think it will probably be put off until Monday at the earliest. They said it becomes a real mess if it starts raining on them mid-way through plastering, so unless it's clear skies, I'm going to ask them to wait - can't believe I just wrote that.

Wow, things really went our way today! The weather has been good and the clean up crew showed up around 7:30 am and the plaster crew followed just after they were done.

First, here is the closeup picture I mentioned of the deck surface.

And here is the pool with the plaster finished:

And filling (I can already see I'm going to be cleaning lots of leaves this winter):

    Hey, it's a pool!

And all this time I thought you were building a bomb shelter, like me.
