Default Above Ground (AG) Pool Gallery, cont.

The other thread was getting really long and not very dial-up user friendly (Right, Al?) -- so let's start a new one. We do love to see pictures of everybody's pools!

Our pool is a Sharkline 18x33. The deck is our ongoing project, phase 4 will
enclose the open end this fall. We have enjoyed wonderful water quality after
going bleach and purchasing Ben's kit.

Nice looking pool and deck. Sharklines are Wil-Bar's, same mfg as SeaSpray (mine) Yours looks very similar - how do you like it?

Getting ready to put on my deck also. QUESTION>>>> how do you manage your winter cover with the deck up and under the pool like that? I plan to put my deck boards on very similar to yours cause it looks fantastic, however I am not quite sure how to deal with the overhand of the winter cover?

Love the pool. It is about 5 years old and the only issue is the covers at each
top rail connection are showing uv breakdown. I would like to replace them
but Wil-Bar is very proud of them.

There is a 2 to 4" vertical gap at the pool, just enough room to use snap
holders on the cover. I am thinking about cutting the ends of each board back
about 6" and covering the gap with a deck board parallel to the pool top edge.

We were thinking about 3 inches below as well?
No trips yet, but you'd just fall in the pool anyway

Actually the boards go right up to the pool, under the ledge.
If I add the new parallel boards they will be screwed down.

Here is a shot of the boards as they reach the side of the pool.

    behawlyusa????

What did you treat your decking with? A natural colored protectant or is it just very clean? I want to go w/ natural, a colored staing looks bad over time and I love the "natural" look of wood.
