Default can U operate pump with cover on?

I have a 10,600 gallon AG oval pool. I just shocked my pool at dusk (7:30pm). Leaving the pump running for 4-5 more hours. Can I put the solar cover back on during this time, with the pump and filter in operation? Or should I wait until I shut off the pump before putting the solar cover on?

You can run with the cover on. I do it almost every day. Your skimmer won't do a great job of catching debris, but the circulation will be fine.

    Welcome to the forum.
To aid in circulation when you're not interested in skimming, aim the return jet(s) down and away from center.
