Default Unbiased pool chemistry info. Alternate source.

I've been having a "discussion" with a co-worker who is joined at the wallet to a pool store and buys their line about chemistry. Showed him much info from poolsolutions.com in an attempt to convince him. In trying to show him that you can't trust the chem companies to give you unbiased advice, I also came across this page, which is a pretty good summary and sticks pretty close to Ben's philosophy. http://www.deh.enr.state.nc.us/ehs/chem.htm

Worth a look, IMO. Has a good pro/con listing for many chemicals. Interesting that two unbiased sites agree so closely.

    Hi, John,

Yeah, Ive been recommending that site to other forum members for years.....exactly for the reason you said. It follows this forum's philosophy almost uncannily.

I also recommend that newbie's download it and use it as a reference to get "normal" levels for their pools.
