I decided to pass on my gas grill that I was going to get b/c I decided to get a SWG ( salt water generator).

Yep I figure I don't want to do the chlorine mixing in the pool.

But its ok. Water softener feel coming out of a pool is better anyway.
....But not to worry, I am getting this grill....
Not as fancy, but what the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NICE. I had a California sales rep that refered to me as the bald salt god. I guess that's as good as getting a raise...

Nice grill, but where do you put the wood?

It's definitely a matter of personal preference, but I'd get a smoke pit instead. You can spend the day enjoying the pool and slow cooking a brisket or ribs!

Sean, I do have a smoker w/ fire box (little HONDO smoker). I just wish to sometimes not mess with wood, charcoal and wonder if the fire will die out. But on bigger gatherings I will use the smoker for steaks & brisket and cooking burgers on the grill

wha, wha, why of course ..................

I actually passed on the grill in the above pic. The area where it is colored grey is really cheap as I saw two at Lowes looks faded from sitting in the sun. Looked horrid

I did however picked up the top of the line Char-Broil Commercial grade grill. Large cooking area and very high BTU's (65000) and of couse the shell is stainless steel w/ lifetime brass burners.

I do, later plan to getting a bigger smoker.
