I'd also go with the SWCG. It makes maintaining the chlorine levels soooo much easier, especially if you need to go away for a few days. I have left mine for up to 12 days and come back to a sparkling clear pool except for a few leaves on the bottom. It will save you more than enough time to pay for itself, and allow more time for grilling when you purchase that.

Is the BBQ an add-on that can easily be done after the fact, or is it intergral with the cement and landscape work and just won't be the same if you add it later? If so, I'd get the BBQ BUT spend the little bit extra to have everything set up to install a SWG. ie. electrical, timer, and piping with caps.

If the BBQ is an easy add-on, I'd get the SWG from the start too.

    It is this one:

I am thinking I'll get something like my parents got, which is a brinkman stainless Steel w/ 3 burners. I can always build around it.

~~ I think I am gonna pull on the SWG and not get this grill.
    Thanks!!

did kabobs on one of those this past weekend..awesome bbq..that being said, i'd get the SWG. the money you save on chemicals will soon pay for the bbq and allow you more leisure time to cook with the simplicity of the SWG once you get it setup. zeobrite is only about 85 dollars for 100 lb (equivalent to 200 lb of sand for filteration)..not really expensive when you consider how long it will last you.

I decided to pass on my gas grill that I was going to get b/c I decided to get a SWG ( salt water generator).

Yep I figure I don't want to do the chlorine mixing in the pool.

But its ok. Water softener feel coming out of a pool is better anyway.
....But not to worry, I am getting this grill....
Not as fancy, but what the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
