My pool is nearing the end of the year warranty (I think the basic structure has a longer warranty, but this is on all the equipment and anything not covered in that structure warranty) and I'm wondering what I should be looking for.
Everything seems to work just fine, the water is still sparkling and clear, and I've had no issues. It has a diamond-rite (sp?) surface, Aqualink remote digital controls, salt-chlorinator and in-floor cleaning system (which works fantastically -- I only vaccum about once a month and don't really *need* to do even that). I've cleaned the filter a couple of times and the pool always seems to need acid (but nothing else) but other than that the chemistry and water are pretty much fantastic (I did have some green algea but a gallon or two or bleach cleaned it right up, and it was only a couple of spots in the spa).
About the only thing I've noted are some hairline cracks in the decking (our decking extends about 20 feet all around the pool). I'm going to guess I have to live with those (we live in Florida so freezing water won't be an issue with them, and to repair they'd practically have to dig up the whole patio).
So... anything else I should be checking?
