    Talking Installation Has Begun!

Hole was dug and walls, steps and spa were set yesterday. Then it rained last night- yuk. Today, PC installed coping, braced steps and spa ( spa is much like the steps that are installed with the liner pool -except its a semi-circle shape.) He also poured concrete around the bottom of the braces today, and started spreading the mountains of dirt into low places on our property. He spread about half of it. We are doing the wiring and he will do the plumbing.

School has started and I am back teaching. So, it is really hectic here. We're gone all day and come home to look at the progress. I am taking pictures, but don't have time to post any. Hopefully, in a few weeks ( after parent/teacher conferences), I'll have time to post some pictures.

Unless you are really up to speed on bonding a pool, you should get a professional who is. This is an area that is very difficult to fix after the pool is complete.

Well, the pool is backfilled and full of water. Running on a temporary pump, until our pump comes in. The deck is not poured yet. Should be completed by the end of next week, if weather holds out. We took our first swim today. Water is at 80 degrees. Just a little chilly- but feels super.
