thanks janet,It would have to be coming from my hard well water. All I have put in my pull is cya and muratic acid.I added the cya after I posted my readings.Any suggestions on the easiest way to counter act the copper reading from hard water? Thanks,Matt

I'm not sure a copper result of .07 is an issue. As I have posted before, I have never seen here on the forum or elsewhere the level at which iron and copper content become problematic but I don't think you're there.

As an aside, I seem to remember a post by Ben indicating that he didn't find copper to be naturally occurring......that it's almost always introduced to the pool thru additives from somewhere. I am certainly not contradicting you, Matt, but I bring it up to get myself corrected if I misread that post.

Thanks Dave,When the PB filled the pool I do know that they put chlorine tablets in a floater made by Omni. Also added was 4 lbs of Omni crystal clear multi shock.Other than CYA and muratic acid the only other ingredient is my hard well water and the wife and kids. The copper reading did sound low but From what I read hear it sounds best to be one step ahead , thanks for any help,Matt
