    I have been using this method, and found it to be very effective. You must run the pump 24/7 to dissolve it, and don't do any backwashing. You can also add it to the skimmer, and it will dissolve in the filter. I prefer my method as the CYA gets disturbed by the return jet for faster dissolving.
