sand filter

I purchased a 15x30 ew pool and the pool supplier recommends a hayward
pump and filter.my question is about the filter.the filter is round and is is not a side discharge.Is the any advatages or disatvantages with a round filter.

Hi, Hayward makes the best pool products so it should be OK. Is it at least a 1 HP pump? Does the filter have a multi port valve on the top? If so you will do just fine.
