    we just got done making that conversion this is the second day to hold our cl at 15 and our ph is 7.5 do we need to add some kind of stablizer or what?

    Yes, you need to change your filter media first, then add stabilizer. It can be bought at WalMart/Home Depot/Lowe's/ any place with a pool section, and is also called balancer or conditioner. Cyanuric acid or isocyanuric acid is the ingredient you're looking for. Follow label directions to get your pool to 20-40 ppm, and don't retest or add more for at least a week. In the meantime, watch your chlorine daily because it will continue to drop due to sun until the stabilizer dissolves.
