Is that a bulldozer in the hole ? It does not look like there is enough room in the hole to get it in/out or to maneuver. Did they drive it in and out ?
New pool was started yesterday. Hope all goes as well as the first day.![]()

Yea, thought it was kind of weird to see a dozer of that size digging the pool out. They may have just used it for leveling out the floor and moving the dirt around.Originally Posted by dcsys

There looks to be a dirt ramp by the pile of dirt on the left.
what type of interior finish did you choose?
It is a front end loader and that is the only machine they used. These guys told me that it takes longer to use a bobcat. The 2 guys who ran the machine were amazing to watch how the cut the curves with such big equipment, they made it look easy. That same crew of 3 have been digging pools for 22 years.
Our interior finish is standard white plaster.....
You bet it does!!! Look at the size of the loader and the bucket, it'll grab 3 to 1 what a mid sized skid loader will in one scoop.Originally Posted by wbrady
A good operator will excavate very close to finished dimensions leaving just a minimum amount of trimming necessary in any size machine he's intimate with, you'd be shocked to know how much finesse you can exercise with a large machine.
