Question Dolphin set-up & electrical questions

Hi, I finally got my Dolphin Dynamic ( DL2020 remoted) tonight after two months of trials & tribulations... including UPS not even bothering to show up today & no phone call ( & no explanations or applogises ) so I had to go pick it up myself 'cause I sure as heck wasn't going to sit here all day tomorrow too.

Anyway, I am missing one of the black filter-bag clips ( of course ), & of course smartpool is closed for the evening, so I shall call them tomorrow; Can I run the Dolphin with only one filter bag clip on ( safely) ?

    reagarding the caddy assembly:
How does the C5 Tower ( plastic part that holds the power supply) attach to the caddy platform ( grey part that has the wheels & holds the unit) ?
I see holes; was this supposed to come with screws ? ( something else that I need to ask smartpool to send...)

    re: GFCI plugs...
I have an outdoor electrical outlet, which although grounded, does not have the gfci breaker. Can I replace the grounded outlet easily with a gfci outlet bought at a hardware store ?... is it any more difficult than just replacing a regular grounded outlet? ( I mean is it as simple as just connecting the three wires?)

    Thanks for your help
    Gwyn

Yes, IF the outlet has 3 wires going to it. Sometimes remodelers replace old style outlets with new ones without updating the wiring. Test it before you use the Dolphin.

have to call smart pool too; missing the black clips that hold the filter bag on & the mesh bag has a hole in it....
my dolphin was doing that back & forth thing that carlD was complaining about, until I switch the program to a hexagon pool... so far so good
( btw my pool is actually a lazy "L" shape).

Queston: how do I attach the C5 tower ( part that holds the power supply) to the main caddy...?
( am I missing some screws for that?)

    Gwyn :-)

    Hi Gwyn
The cart has 2 screws attached to the cart, The back of the power supply hooks onto these screws located on the back side of the cart. I assume you have a 30 day warranty. I would call Smartpool at 866-730-9880 to get another clip, fabric bag and cart screws.
Test the unit thoughly to make sure it is not defective. Make sure the climbing wall feature works, etc. It is OK to run with only 1 clip.
