I'm fed up with the high price of the Polaris tail whip foam scrubber. My local store charges $4.50.

It looks like it should cost no more than 50 cents. Has anyone found a bulk, cut it yourself source in a hardware or plumbing store?

I also found the Polaris disposable sediment or silt bag is just a woman's knee-high nylon pantyhose, which go for as low as 25 cents at your local drugstore chain. They work great!
