Hayward Phantom

First, is the phantom approved for vinyl lined inground pools? Will it hook up to a Polaris dedicated pressure line? What are the pros and cons? How long has Hayward made it?

My pool builder has recommended one to me for my vinyl pool. He says everybody that gets one is happy with it. I have no idea on the other questions.
