    Default coping misaligned

I have a 20 by 40 vinyl liner pool that has the coping misaligned in two places.
One is off about 1/8 inch the other is about 1/4 inch off.
I had thought about using a plastic dead-blow hammer to try to move one side in and the other out, but afraid I will do more harm than good.
It does have the coping clips but it still sticks out like a sore thumb.

Any ideas anyone or will I just have to live with it?

    Thanks

Our only experience is our pool. I don't know why you'd get this problem unless two sections of your coping meet at the same place that two pieces of your wall meet, and settling has occurred.

I wouldn't bang anything. Since the coping is attached to the walls, you could break or bend them, plus who knows what would happen to the concrete inside the coping?

Personally, unless you can find out the cause of the height different and fix the cause without doing more damage to something else, I wouldn't mess with it. Jo

Actually it was a bad install, and the pool company has gone under.
It's really not up and down misalignment but side to side.
Guess the coping was screwed into the polymer walls wrong.

Maybe I could put some kind of sealer on the back of the low sides of the coping clips to even them out a little.

    Thanks for the reply!
