Cloudy water Help!!

We have white cloudy water..Have been to the pool store with water samples so many times..They tell me everything is in check and add sparkle up and it will clear the water...Nope the water is more cloudy..We have cleaned out the filter and then they told us to reschock it and add more clarifier we have...My husband thinks we are on chemical overload in the pool now...Need help leaving for vaca soon and want it cleared up..any thoughts...

What you need to do is get the pool store to give you numbers--"everything is in check" doesn't tell us anything. I don't know why they do that.

You'll need measures of:
FC (Free Chlorine)
CC (Combined Chloramines)
pH
T/A (Total Alkalinity)
CYA (Cyanuric Acid, also called Chlorine Stabilizer)
CH/Ca (Calcium Hardness)

I cannot be sure if you have a white mold or a calcium precipitation--you treat them VERY differently. You may have something else again.

Get a test kit and test it yourself. Then post the numbers here. You are being "poolstored". Walmart has a kit for $12.97 or so that will do the job.
