Cool Bleach computer (ph conversion ?)

Please explain what you put in the space next to muraitic acid 31% (oz)to figure out how much acid to put in to lower the ph down from 7.8 down to 7.4.The size of the pool is 9500 gallons. It says on top lower ph 0.2.Do you put in 7.8 next to the muraitic acid or 7.4? then hit calculate?Or do you put how much has to be adjusted in my case 0.4?Thanks for the explainations.

In the current version all you need to put in is the pool volume in gallons and press calculate. The other spaces are outputs. So for your case, you should not add more than 7.6 oz of 31% muriatic acid at one time. This should lower your PH by 0.2. If you need to drop by 0.4, then you should dose twice but not together (e.g. morning then evening after measuring).
