PS234 Results Please Advise

Been fighting algae for the last couple of weeks. The pool is clear but has a green tint maybe from the algae, it seems embedded in my liner. Since receiving my kit and following advice from this forum I've been keeping the pool FC at shock level and brushing daily. Do I need to keep up with this? I'm really losing patience. Here are my results for the last 5 days.

FC 25-28 - losing about 2ppm daily
CC 0
TC 25-28
pH 7.0-7.2 - having to add 2lb Borax every other day
Alk 140-180 - is at 180 the last 2 reading. jets turn up to ripple the water but it doesn't seem to work
Cal 140 - it's a vinyl pool and haven't tested again since the 1st time
Cya 130
Temp 82 - hard to believe living in South Alabama. lots of trees around it.

Just wanted to add it is a 20,500 IG, vinyl w/1 hp pump and sand filter. It has been running 24/7 since Sat. Aug. 27.

In order to kill the algae, you need to keep the shock level up until the green is gone from the water and it turns cloudy blue, backwashing as needed.
