For DIY'ers
I find basically the kit I want for an inground pool around $6,000. A lot of people I talk to in my area and I see post prices on here are between 20 - $30,000 for same size pool. I realize that location has to do with it but my question is:

Where is the largest cost after the initial kit has been bought???

I suspect it is in excavation and concrete, but its hard to believe its that much difference. Are the contractors making that much of a profit?

I am by no means trying to start a argument, I am just trying to find out where and what my cost are going to be if I contract it myself and do some of the smaller things myself.
