    Default Should I be worried?

I gave my PB a $3,000.00 deposit back in May and finally got the permit approval on July 11. My contract states work to begin 14 days after permit approval. I've only spoken to my PB once since the 11th and he said then that the pool would be in last week. Since then, I can't get him to return our calls. As of this posting he's 1 week past the contracted start date. Should I be worried?

I would be. People who have my money and haven't produced and have stopped returning phone calls DEFINITELY worry me.
