I currently have a thick aluminum 8-16ft collapsible pole for manual vacuuming. It's bent like a banana, doesn't collapse/expand right, and worst of all, the lower portion "free-wheels" do I can't turn my steerable vacuum head. It was a wonderful pole, but know has too many seasons under it's belt to continue using.

I've been through two el-cheapo Home Depot thin aluminum poles and am sick of buying cheap crap that only lasts one season.

I would really like a THICK aluminum pole or a commercial fiberglass pole that is 8-16ft long and collapsible. I've found a few online, but none of the retailers like to respond to email and have no phone numbers.

Anyone have any sources or brand names I should look for?

I need something nice to mate up with my give-it-hell vacuum head and new give-it-hell hose.
