    Default Faded Liner

Since switching to bleach this year I have noticed a distinct color change in my vinyl liner below water level. Does this mean I am adding too much bleach or is this to be expected. When shocking I try to stay around 12ppm which is they level suggested by the best guess chart. Im just worried about damaging the liner.
    Thanks
    John

It would be pretty quick for it to happen unless you are way overdosing it. Probably a result of previous years chlorine and age. Bleach is no different than any other form of chlorine once it is in the water. Unless you have a reason like CC, don't shock.

Letting your pH get too low will cause this, as well.
