    Default too much bleach???

I noticed that the liner in our pool is almost white on 1/2 of the floor. would this be from to much bleach??? liner has a pattern and is more blue spots. Oh while I'm posting, the bottom of the pool is very hard, is this normal?24' round ag 13570 gals

Is the liner white or is it debris on the bottom? Hard floor is good, very good. It means the sand is properly packed down.

to answer carls ques. no the liner has a pattern on it. and the one side opposite the return flow is pretty faded.

Duraleigh, I use bleachcalc to adjust clorine levels, but I thought I had alge, maybe I did, I don't know, but I prepared the fight the alge and stocked up on bleach. I put in the required amount for shock level, and it held overnight on the first dose. That was the only time I used an eccess amount of bleach.

If you put in the bleach using bleachcalc and Ben's table, the bleach application was very safe.
