    Default New Pool Water

I am filling my new vinyl liner pool tomorrow and I waited till the last minute to order my test kit....I was wondering what my best course of action is as far as initial chemicals until I get the kit as I see they are a few weeks behind shipping out...I have about 17500 gallons......filling it with very hard groundwater. Any suggestions for first steps?

Until Ben's kit arrives, go to Walmart and pick up the 5-way drops based kit. Also while there, pick up several jugs of plain, unscented bleach - Walmart generic is fine. Test your fill water and post the results. Then somebody here can take a look at offer some advice on getting your pool started. What type of filter do you have?
