What is the BBB method exactly?
I have been reading about the BBB method on this site, but haven't found a definition of what it exactly is. I am new to the site and am interested in the BBB method and using it. I currently use Chlorine tablets and Powdered Shock it to treat my pool, but I am having an algae problem now and am very frustrated. Can someone please explain to me what BBB is?

Your algae problem is probably due to your CYA getting too high from the trichlor and dichlor you're using. REad through the sticky that Carl recommended, then test your water with a drop-based kit (or have the pool store do it for you, IF they're using drops instead of strips) and post results for Cl, pH, Alk, CYA, and Calcium. We should be able to get you going from there!
