    Default PPM vs. Percent

    My mom works in a lab and is going to test my pre and post-salt pool water samples for me. She can have it tested for percent of salt (solids) but not PPM. Is there a conversion ratio for this? I haven't had a chance to go to a pool store to test the two samples.

    percent = parts per hundred

    ppm = parts per million

    Yes, and I would guess that you could just multiply it times 10,000 to get it to parts per million.
