    Default How much water?

Our gunite is complete I know we have to water the gunite frequently, but is there such a thing as watering too much? What do you consider frequent? Once....twice...three times a day or sit out in a patio chair with the hose and a cooler full of beer all day?

    Thanks in advance!

Depends on how hot it is but you really cannot over water it as far as I know. If it dries pretty quickly then 3-4 times a day. If it stays wet all day, then probably once a day is ok.

    Default Watering device

Here's a little thing I rigged up to take the drudgery out of gunite watering. It's just half inch pvc, standard fittings, and some sprinkler heads ($20 and 30 minutes). Put it on a hose end timer and you really don't have to do anything.

    Default were is the fun

I love Kurts system. But to be honest I loved spraying my pool. I was out there anyway every 30 minutes to look at it. So spraying it was fun.

I also don't think you can over do it.

My builder left a sprinker in the pool and is was going 24/7 for 5 days. He left the plug out of the main drain so the water drained out. That might have been overkill.

We have had a gunite pool in my backyard unfilled for about 2 months waiting on our addition construction to be finished but no one said anthing about watering it. I live in Florida, so no rain.

    Is this a problem?
