    Default Is Dicalite ... DE?

    Me again ...

I have not put any DE in my skimmer yet. I just today bought some -- at
least I think that's what I bought! I asked the guy at a pool store
(not my regular pool store if they sold DE -- he said "Yeah - right over
there -- those white bags.) It's in a big white bag and it says:
    Dicalite Filter Powder

    Is this the same stuff?

Plus -- there is 25# of this stuff! I'll have to store it somewhere as I don't think I'll use ALL that EVER!

My pool water looks okay -- clear but not as clear in deep -- and
    certainly not sparlky!

(And now if you read my post in the chlorine forum/pool equipm forum you'll know I don't have circulating water at the moment -- because I have NO PUMP! )
    Blessings,
    Debbie in OK

dicalite is either a perlite DE replacement or calcined DE. It should work just fine.
