Default order of Solar Panels and SWG

Hi! I have an Intex vinyl 20x12 AG pool - and at the moment it is 'on' Baquacil. However, i have just bought the Intex Salt Chlorine generator - so will be converting it soon.
I also have two black rubber solar panels - 4x20 - which work wonderfully well in keeping the pool warm!
BUT...I am suddenly a little wary of the situation, having read in an earlier thread how any air mixing with the chlorine could result in an explosion - also wondering if the pump Intex sends (its a combo pump/converter) will be able to pump its chlorinated water through the panels OK. And even - if i am meant to do that ? It says in the instructions the converter should be the last item in line connected to the pool - whereas at the moment the panels are the last..
ALSO -The pool water gets pumped throughout the day through the panels and into the pool so as to get the temp. up - but if the pump has to be timed according to the need for chlorine - will that mean i will have to forego the solar panels heating up all day?
LOTS of questions...i think basically i dont know quite what to do - so even if you can think of a question i didnt ask - but should have - let me know that too! Pool chemistry is fascinating - but gets a bit scary when dealing with explosions and corrosions...! EEEeeek!
    Thanks!

Yes, the SWCG has to be the last item on the line. Can the pump and converter be separated? Don't worry about an explosion, when the solar panels are full of air and changing to pool water. The flow switch will prevent the cell from operating until all the air has been expelled

Depending on how long you run the pump normally, you should be able to set the Intex SWCG to provide sufficient chlorine for that time. Is there a bypass to the panels, when there is no sun?

Not sure I answered all your questions without more info, but hope this helps.

    Hi Pat
Thank you so much for replying- i really appreciate your help and knowledge!
I think i am going to return the 'combo' pump and SWCG and get them separately so i can space them each side of the solar panels.
    Thanks a lot!
