    Default autoclear problems

Suddenly my autoclear isnt working this year. All the lights are on, and it says low salt. My salt is actually too high. The autoclear isnt producing any chlorine. My local pool people havethrown up their hands, and unfortunatly calllng autoclear yielded nothing other than clean it again, and call us back. Its clean, believe me. When i test it..it has an error code 52...unfortunately polaris said there isnt such a thing. Is there a way to use a volt/ohm meter to measure current at cell? any other ideas? thanks.

Most problems occur because of loose or bad connections, either at the cell or at the control box. Make sure all connections are clean.

The Error code 52 on the digital display could quite easily be 92 indicating low flow. Check the flow switch for scale.

    Hope this helps.

If you have checked all the connections and the flow switch, then another call to Autoclear is necessary. Talk to someone on the technical side. Ask for a detailed instruction manual. If you have mentioned the error codes, they should be able to help you.

The display should be capable of showing volts and amps without resorting to a voltmeter. Again this should be shown in the manual.
