    Default Log Book Or Chart

Do any of you have a favorite chemical chart or log book you use to keep track of your pool? Store bought or custom made, I just want to start with something good.

Hey Donnie, I was working on that very thing last night. I was using MS Excel to build a spread sheet. Nothing fancy, yet. I'm still not sure what all to include in the spread sheet. I'm new to this BBB thing. I just switched last week. Going good so far. Where abouts in Oklahoma do you live? I live in the Moore area.

Yukon. Our pool goes in the first week of September and I'm trying to stay informed and prepared. I'm pretty anal about most anything and want to start off with the right record keeping while keeping it as simple as possible. I am sure there is someone with the perfect chart. Hopefully they will share!!!

I just have a log book that I write everything down in on a daily basis. I'm pretty new at the BBB method too.

Also just wanted to say I'm in Oklahoma too! Just south of Tulsa. Our water is heating up by the hour!

I'm fairly new, too. I use an Excel spreadsheet that includes what I did after taking the readings (added 1 qt. bleach, etc.), what it cost, & what the weather and other conditions are (rain, sun, lots of swimming, etc.) This helps me determine what causes changes in the pool "chemistry". I would be glad to share it, but don't know how!! Good luck

Here is a chart I use for logging. I put in a database each week so I can print charts each month and drop in a binder.

This is a PDF version of the one I use: Worksheet-Pool.pdf. Left margin is large enough that I can keep a short stack of these on a clipboard and still read the date. The columns for T5, T6, CO2 pressure, and H2 timer are related to my automation system for bleach & CO2 injection and daily water top-off.

Thanks. I'd been meaning to come up with a chart but I'm computer averse. Now it's done for me.

You guys (and this site) rock!
