    Default Confused on Min FC

I cannot express how happy I am with my pool after taking all of your advice! I need some clarification. Every evening lately when I test, I am around 1.6-1.8 FC. My CYA is 45. I have very little CC (0-.2). I put in around 3qts that yield around 2.6 increase for my 17280g IG. Does the Best Guess Min mean ALWAYS above 3 FC? Because it seems that when I put in 6qts, I still under 3 FC the next evening.

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Joe,

Yes...minimum 3. Add enough to get to five or 6 and then re-add when it drifts down to 3.

I cannot answer why your 6 quarts yields similar results as the three quart addition.
