Are you sure she wasn't just hiding a baby ruth?

Yup I've got poop! I dumped my last too jugs of bleach in and numbers are as follows FC 8.5 CC 0 PH 7.8 CYA 50. The accident was contained in a swim diaper but I'm sure some escaped. What do I have to do to make the pool safe to swim in again? DD was having so much fun learning to swim without floaties and going under water I didn't want to make a big deal over it. Thanks again.

As there was no visible 'debris' and it's been 6 hrs, with elevated cl, I'd have to say that you're ok for an evening swim, if you have any doubts (or she's been sick) you may want to hold off til morning and let the pump keep running tonight.

Lake Michigan always has high levels of fecal matter and Ecoli bacteria in it, and the Chicagoans are all ok.
Thanks folks. We are hitting 100 again today. This would not be a good time to take the pool out of service DD says it's to hot to play on her new swingset. Took the clorine up to 10. That should nuke the poop!
