h20man: I'll be watching to see the replies to your post. I'm in the same boat. I have an old pool (1964) with plumbing "issues". The pool has been through numerous remodels and I'm not sure what is happening with the plumbing. When I get close to the point where I remodel, I was going to post a similar plumbing question. My main question is: how do you re-plumb an in-ground pool? Dig from inside the pool out or tunnel underneath from outside the concrete deck? And how big of a deal (cost wise) is it? You have a quote for around $2,000 to do yours? If I knew how to include a link to an old post of mine, I could show you how old my plumbing is. I think that it stumped everyone that viewed it.
