This season I replaced my pump but kept the same sand filter. According to Mark's (mas985) rough head calculations, my new pump's flow rate is approx. 50 gpm with a clean filter. The design flow rate for my filter is 44 gpm. The max working pressure is 50 psi-my clean operating pressure is 18 psi. Does anyone see a potential problem with these numbers?
