    Question AquaPure Chlorine Generator Question

Hi! I posted a similar question a few days ago, but I think it was in the wrong forum. I'm trying to figure out exactly which items I need to purchase for my pool. I'm confused by the Aquapure, Purelink, and the Jandy power center. Any help is very much appreciated.

Is this a complete salt water generator?:

By that, I am asking if I need to purchase another power center or anything else to go with that pictured unit. Thank you!

Good Morning. I have the same SWG or similar (1 year old) and it works very well. I am picturing my system in my head and I do not think you need any other power center. Mine is attached to an electrical line/output the pool builders set up. If I get the chance tonight, I will take a pic and post it.

    Good luck.

That unit will do it. It's the basic aquapure 1400 set up. The other things you mentioned are for intergating the SWG with other Jandy features. It should run somewhere between $700 and $1100 to purchase with out installation.

Thank you both very much for the help! I was so hoping that was all I needed.

While a part of me does want the PDA, I don't feel like I really need one. I'll have a light, a pump, a SWG and that's really about it. I haven't yet decided between a Polaris and a robot. I think a PDA would be like putting caviar on a saltine cracker, in my case.
Will a timer be pretty much all I need for the pump and SWG, or is there some huge benefit to having a PDA that I'm overlooking? I'm perfectly capable of walking over and flipping the switch for the light.

Angela, you would have the power unit wired with your pump, which is usually on a timer. Then when the pump is on, the SWG is on.

keastman, Thank you!! I was so confused by that, but now everything seems so simple. What a relief... Now I can go back to obsessing over tile and deck colors.
